I’m navigating through stormy water right now career wise, steering my life into the direction of the future. Going through turbulence is just a fact of life.  It stinks, but there’s not much we can do about it but keep putting one foot in front of the other and focusing forward. I’m reading a great book right now by Bob Beaudine, called The Power of Who.  I’m finding encouragement in his book as he talks about bad weather (unforeseen circumstances) might blow you off course temporarily, but as soon as possible, you reestablish the correct heading.  He goes on to say, discernment is the ability to see things deeply – beyond the obvious and below the surface.  If you’re going to successfully traverse the unpredictable, often rough and treacherous waters of life, you’ll need the ability to read the currents below.  And this is my favorite part… “Take hold of the wheel, you’re closer than you think.”
